Soon after we started diving, we noticed that many of the people who enjoy diving have little regard for the environment they are visiting.
The endless depth, the seemingly vast reefs and the abundance of fish appear to be replaceable consumer-goods which need not be taken care of.
We, however, feel that is important especially for divers to be considerate towards the world they entering as an uninvited visitor. It is of major
importance that divers learn how the complex underwater world functions and how they influence that environment.
A carelessly broken-off coral, a turtle disturbed in its sleep, the stirring up of sand and all the other little things we wreck while on a dive do
matter. If we understand what a precious and diverse world we are entering, then maybe we will be more likely to care for it and be responsible in our
actions. Because we divers should be at the frontline fighting for the conservation of this unique environment, we included some information on the
well-being of the oceans on our page. If you have any comments or ideas, pls. don't hesitate to let us know.
